“Living slowly, thinking deeply, dressing like every day matters.”
But honestly, writing an “about me” page is a little strange, right? You’re supposed to somehow summarize yourself in a few paragraphs, and yet you know it’s just a moment in time. One version of yourself. But okay, I’ll try.
My name is Viktoria, I’m 23 years old and I live in Södermalm, Stockholm. Day to day, I work part-time at a flower shop, a job I thought was temporary but that turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to me. There’s something about having your hands in flowers, creating something beautiful out of what would otherwise just wilt. It taught me presence in a way no book ever has.
Alongside that, I’m studying to become a social worker at Stockholm University. Not because it sounds impressive, but because I’ve always listened better than most people. Strangers tell me things at bus stops. It’s always been that way. I figured I might as well make it a career.
Why this blog? I scrolled my feed into the ground and got tired of the perfect. Everything looked the same. Same lighting, same poses, same products. I wanted something that felt like a life, with wrinkles, half-finished thoughts and real mornings.
So that’s what I’m trying to create here. Not a catalog, but a conversation. About fashion and secondhand finds, about cooking with William on Sundays, about Fikon who always chooses to sit on whatever item of clothing I just ironed. About being young and trying to figure out life without losing yourself in the process.
What will you find here? Style and secondhand finds that actually last. Morning routines that look like life and not like commercials. Thoughts on relationships, body image and what it really means to take care of yourself, without guilt and without constant optimization. The home as an ongoing project. The flower shop behind the scenes. And every now and then: Fikon.
If you’re here because you want to live more intentionally but don’t want to give up the joy, I think we’re going to get along well.
Welcome in. 🌿
